The great ship Hector. There is a replica of the Hector on the waterfront in Pictou. The original ship transported many of the first Scottish immigrants to Pictou County.
The Museum of Industry in Stellarton. One of Canada's few comprehensive industrial museums.

The Westray Mine Disaster Memorial. A memorial sits in a park in New Glasgow at the approximate location above ground where, as a result of an underground explosion in the Westray mine in 1992, the bodies of 11 of the 26 miners who lost their lives remain underground.
The Northumberland Fisheries Museum which includes a Lobster Hatchery.
